So that was a slaughter. Mr Scheel is a longtime basset breeder and an expert judge for this breed. From 26 registered bassets was almost one half marked as good, in a better case very good. Knuckling over highly undesirable.– defect that casts out from the breeding – he penalised as sufficient, bad teeth even disqualified. The award or the mark excellent was given to only the true ones and those were only a few. 

Diamond was at three exhibitions, gaind 3 xCAJC and is a Junior champion of the Czech Republic. He was awarded with all the titles by the best judges – experts on bassets and their longtime breeders – from Ms Věra Dvořáková, Sigfried Peter and Kresten Scheel. From all these judges he has credentials with no defects, superlatives only.
